The Institute of Energy Professionals Africa NPC (IEPA) complies with stringent international copyright laws. By accessing any provided materials by IEPA, you agree to and understand that you are bound by the following terms:

  1. You are required to uphold the IEPA and AEE Code of Conduct for Energy Professionals, as well as adhere to all Copyright Protection and Non-Disclosure Agreements that apply.

  2. You may print ONLY ONE copy of the material, solely for your own personal use in the specific training program for which you are enrolled.

  3. You acknowledge and understand the full scope of copyright law, recognizing that these materials are intended only for your personal study and preparation in compliance with the terms of the training program. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

  4. You confirm that copyright infringement is a violation of the law, potentially subjecting both the individual infringer and their employer to civil and/or criminal liability.

  5. Both digital and non-digital content are protected under copyright law. The materials, in any form, are protected by the author’s, AEE’s, and IEPA’s copyright.

  6. Access to and use of the materials is conditioned upon your acceptance and compliance with these terms.

Confidentiality Agreement

By signing up for any IEPA or AEE Programmes, you hereby agree that all information related to any task, project, or meeting assigned by the Institute of Energy Professionals Africa NPC (IEPA), including information pertaining to IEPA, its delegates, partners, and collaborators (including the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), UNIDO, and any other related organizations), whether obtained before, during, or after the task/assignment, will be treated as confidential.

You are committed not to disclose, reproduce, or share this information with any person or organization, except as directed and authorized by IEPA.

You further agree that all information will be used solely for the purposes outlined by IEPA, AEE, UNIDO, or any other partners or clients involved. Any disclosure of information concerning IEPA, its partners, delegates, training materials, examinations, assignments, results, or any related information must be approved in writing by the Managing Director / CEO of IEPA. If applicable, further authorization may also be required from relevant stakeholders.

You confirm that you are fully aware of the terms and conditions of any pre-existing agreements between yourself and IEPA and agree to comply with them.

Additionally, you declare that, to the best of your knowledge, there is no conflict of interest between yourself, your employer, IEPA delegates, or any other relevant parties in accepting this assignment, task, or participation in any meetings.

Upon completion of the assignment, you undertake to immediately and permanently delete all information obtained or provided in connection with the task from all personal, company, and cloud-based storage systems, ensuring no impact on the IEPA cloud-based filing system.

You hereby disclose any relationships, interests, or affiliations you have had with the above-mentioned parties and their personnel, as well as any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may influence decisions, recommendations, or business activities of IEPA, or may result in personal gain. 

Furthermore, you agree to uphold the principles of impartiality, integrity, and non-discrimination as established by law, ensuring the protection of IEPA, AEE, UNIDO, and their programs by:

  • Maintaining a non-discriminatory attitude towards all individuals involved in the assignment.
  • Treating all delegates, IEPA, AEE, UNIDO personnel, and other participants fairly and equitably.
  • Refraining from sharing any information obtained during the assignment with any actual or potential competitors or third parties considering the provision of training or related services offered by IEPA, AEE, or UNIDO.

This version ensures clarity, neutrality, and adherence to confidentiality while protecting IEPA’s interests.
