CASO User Level Training
The UNIDO Compressed Air System Optimisation (CASO) User Level training course introduces participants to the operational aspects of compressed air systems, including supply, distribution, treatment, and demand. Participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the system components, their dynamic interactions, and a step-by-step approach to system optimisation. This course enables the identification and quantification of energy management opportunities across the entire system.
Participants who successfully complete the training and pass the required test may qualify for the Expert Level training.

- Introduction to Compressed Air Systems, Compressor Types, Operation, and Applications.
- Air Treatment, Dryers, Storage, Filtration, and Distribution.
- Reducing Compressed Air Waste, Leakages, Artificial Demand, and Inappropriate Use.
- Compressed Air System Assessments, Pressure Profiles, Demand Profiles, System Energy Balances, Data Collection & Analysis, Heat Recovery, and Case Studies.
CASO Expert Level Training
The UNIDO CASO Expert Level course takes place in real industrial settings. Participants are equipped with monitoring tools to perform analyses and develop practical solutions. This hands-on training provides an in-depth understanding of the techniques and tools required to identify, design, and implement energy optimisation opportunities effectively.
